Ready to understand yourself with compassion, not criticism, and begin healing from the impact of trauma without pressure or overwhelm?
An on-demand trauma healing course designed by an experienced trauma therapist with a clinical background. Created for high-functioning adults who have learned to cope quietly but feel broken inside.
You are likely someone who appears capable on the outside. You get on with things. You think deeply. You care. You hold yourself to high standards.
Persistent self-criticism or shame
Emotional overwhelm or emotional numbness
Anxiety, people-pleasing, or feeling on edge
Difficulty resting or feeling safe in your body
A sense that you are “too much” or “not enough” at the same time
This can be an incredibly lonely place to be, especially when others see you as coping well.
In my therapy work, I have supported many people who look successful, competent, and resilient, but feel exhausted by the inner battle they are carrying.

As a therapist with many years of experience supporting people with trauma and emotional neglect, there is something I want you to hear clearly:
It is not what is wrong with you. It is what happened to you.
For many of us the trauma is not one distinct catastrophic event, it is an accumulation of things that impact us over time, and sometimes it is the things that didn't happen.
So many of the patterns you may struggle with today developed as intelligent survival responses to earlier experiences. Experiences where your emotional needs were unmet, your feelings were minimised, or you learned to stay small, pleasing, or self-reliant to stay safe.
Freedom Beyond Trauma was created because healing does not come from pushing harder, fixing yourself, or a one size fits all approach.
It comes from:
Understanding your unique inner world with compassion
Learning how your nervous system learned to survive
Gently building safety, regulation, and choice over time
If any of this feels familiar, this course was created for you.
Respond to triggers with more steadiness and self-trust
Reduce shame and soften harsh self-criticism
Feel safer in your body and emotions
Understand your patterns without blaming yourself
Build a life guided by values, not survival

“Thank you deeply for being part of my healing journey. I have been able to let go of any misplaced guilt and responsibility I had for what happened to me.”

My name is Shelley Bradley-Scholey. I am a trauma therapist, clinical supervisor, author, and speaker with extensive experience supporting adults impacted by trauma and emotional neglect. I have worked with people who feel emotionally stuck, for over 20 years and I have found that how you are feeling is often as a result of what happened to you.
I created Freedom Beyond Trauma because I saw the same pattern again and again in my therapy room. High-functioning, thoughtful people who had learned to survive quietly, but were longing for relief, understanding, and self-compassion. I wanted to offer an affordable and accessible option that can be completed at your own pace.
This course brings together evidence-based therapy approaches with nervous system regulation and compassion-focused care, translated into a format that is accessible, humane, and gentle.

You will begin by understanding trauma beyond PTSD, and why so many people struggle without recognising their experiences as traumatic. This module lays the foundation for safety, choice, and self-paced healing.
You will learn how thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and behaviours interact, and how survival patterns become established. This helps you move from self-blame to understanding.
You will explore how trauma impacts neuroplasticity, triggers, and emotional responses, and why your reactions make sense given what your nervous system has learned.
You will learn how regulation works, what dysregulation feels like for you, and how to gently widen your capacity to stay present without overwhelm.
You will be guided through practical tools to support safety, grounding, and co-regulation, helping your body learn that the present moment can be safer.
You will learn how to recognise triggers, respond with compassion, and reduce the intensity and after-effects of emotional activation.
You will explore where self-criticism comes from and how to work with it using compassion-focused approaches rather than trying to silence or fight it.
You will learn gentle CBT-informed strategies to loosen unhelpful thinking patterns while staying connected to your nervous system and values.
You will begin reconnecting with who you are beyond survival, clarifying values and rebuilding a sense of agency and self-trust.
You will bring everything together into a personalised, realistic plan for continued healing that honours your pace, capacity, and life.
“Thank you deeply for being part of my healing journey. I have been able to let go of any misplaced guilt and responsibility I had for what happened to me.”

You appear on the outside as high-functioning but feel internally overwhelmed
You minimise your experiences because nothing “that bad” happened, yet something still feels unresolved.
You experience shame, self-criticism, or emotional neglect patterns
You want trauma-informed support without pressure or exposure-based approaches
You value compassion, understanding, and nervous system safety
Freedom Beyond Trauma is an educational, self-guided course.
It is not a replacement for individual therapy, and it is not intended to provide crisis support or treatment for acute mental health difficulties.
Many people choose to use this course alongside therapy, or as a supportive step when therapy is not currently accessible.
Doors will open for 1 week only, once they close on (TUESDAY 10TH MARCH 11:30 PM) this price is gone.
You will have lifetime access to the course, for as long as it exists in this format.
The course comprises 10 modules that you can complete at your own pace, you may want to take time between modules to work on the activities in your workbook or you might want to watch it all then go back and do the workbook activities after you have watched. But the beauty of working in this way is that you can dictate your pace!
This is not therapy, it is a way to access my wealth of knowledge in a cost effective way and gain access to many of the therapeutic tools that I share with my clients without the commitment to longer term therapy.
This is a self directed course, all the content and videos are made and delivered by me, however you will not have direct access in the way you would in 1:1 therapy.
No. Everything is explained clearly and accessibly.
Yes absolutely, the course could be a fantastic adjunct to other therapeutic work. It might also be a helpful foundation if you have therapy in mind for the future.
